I told someone I loved them today. See above title for advice.

On the Road (sans Dean) pt. 5
Random Things;
Went to a high school today. Richest. School. Ever. Whoa.
Was given shit by coffee girl for feeling embarrassed to ask for non-fat.
Got the stare down from dude three times my age. Huh?
Felt strange sense of unease looking across miles of darkness.
Was generally surprised by the size of the St.Louis Arch.
Saw a sign with the hammer and sickle on it.
Swindled my way into a hotel room on the cheap!
Night Folks!

On the Road (sans Dean) pt. 4
Good start to day three. I woke up this morning on a spectacularly comfortable sofa, and was then made a lovely breakfast by my good friend Alyssa Dawson. I loaded film while we watched Biker Gangs of Chicago. I suddenly feel much less enthusiastic about visiting the windy city. I also got a firm commitment from two locations I really wanted to shoot this morning, which makes me think there’s a real possibility to make this trip somewhat productive.
I’m out!

Day Two=Done.
Everyone should have friends. I highly recommend them, especially for road trips. Some will keep you awake while driving via endless teasing, others offer the comfort of sofas and banana bread. Cheers to you dear friends for making my vision of this trip a reality.

On the Road (sans Dean) pt. 2
Dear god I’m tired. And nervous. I’m using new photo equipment, which was dumb of me. Tip for anyone out there reading this, never depend upon equipment you’ve never used. Ugh. As it is, I’m heading north to Tennessee, though there is some question as to whom I’m staying with. Maybe I’ll make a new friend tonight!

Time-Lapse Fun
So I bought an application called TimeLapse for the iPhone, and tested it out during the Louisville, St. Johns game yesterday. It was an ugly couple hours, as attested by the photos.

Where Do Socks Go?
If there’s one item of clothing I’m constantly missing, it’s socks. God I hate the prospect of buying new ones. Long or short, white or festive?
